WOLF-whistling by sexist builders is causing women to hire female grafters to carry out any work on their homes.
More than one in 10 female homeowners who have been targeted as they walk past construction sites have been put off employing men for maintenance jobs.
Some 27% of women told a survey being wolf-whistled at or ogled by workmen made them feel awkward and 23% said it left them feeling uncomfortable.
