Lando laughs off cheeky Max jibe

IF Max Verstappen does quit Formula One young, as he keeps threatening to do, he could start a new career in stand-up comedy.

At least Lando Norris thinks so, after laughing off a taunt from the Dutchman following his fourth straight title success.

Verstappen got the job done last Sunday, finishing ahead of Norris in Las Vegas to hit the jackpot and finally end the Brit's championship dreams.

And afterwards he gloated: "Would I have become champion in the McLaren?

Yes - and much earlier too." Norris wasn't having any of it when that claim was put to him yesterday, quipping: "He should start doing comedy or something!
