NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO says he has been reassured by Nottingham Forest's stars that they were not enjoying a New Year's Eve piste-up.
The Portuguese boss was unaware that a quartet of his first-team squad and their partners brought in 2025 by partying in the Alps.
Morgan Gibbs-White, Elliot Anderson, Anthony Elanga and Neco Williams made a whistle-stop trip to France and were pictured enjoying themselves on the slopes.
Players are usually contractually prohibited from undertaking any activity that could result in them picking up an injury.
But Forest chief Nuno said he had been assured that they weren't skiing in the upmarket resort of Val-d'Isere. Pictures of the players emerged on social media, alerting him to the potential problem.
