Serb jokes he'll play until he's 60

NOVAK DJOKOVIC insists he'll keep going despite winning a record-equalling 24th Grand Slam title.

The Serbian superstar, 36, became the oldest champion at Flushing Meadows in the Open era with his 6-3 7-6 6-3 win over Daniil Medvedev, then compared himself to American sporting legends LeBron James and Tom Brady.

With his great rivals Roger Federer retired and Rafa Nadal on his farewell tour next season, Djokovic's longevity has become a bit of a joke.

At the trophy ceremony, world No.3 Medvedev asked: "I don't know when you plan to maybe slow down a little bit?"
