They are only ahead of Port Vale, who play their game in hand against Barrow tomorrow, on goal difference.
And they must get this nightmare finish out of their minds quickly in time for Saturday's trip to leaders Walsall.
But midfielder Reeves insisted: “The main goal is still exactly the same with a game less - nothing has really changed.
