Ms Hall would concentrate on "bread-and-butter issues" and keep council tax "as low as possible", while still providing enough funding for the Met police if she is elected on May 2. Mr Khan has increased his share of average council tax bills by more than £200 since he became Mayor in 2016.
She appeared to backtrack on previous comments suggesting that free school meals should be means tested, saying she would maintain the universal scheme "ensuring children have healthy, nutritious meals".
