Norrie's the comeback king but Draper's revival proves to be short-lived

CAMERON NORRIE came back from two sets down for only the second time in his career to book his place in the third round of the Australian Open.

The British No1 admitted he was aided by rain delays, which gave him time to talk to his coach, Facundo Lugones, and regroup after a difficult start.

He broke Giulio Zeppieri in the very next game after one rain break in the third set, helping shift momentum on his way to coming back to win 3-6, 6-7, 6-2, 6-4, 6-4.

But hopes of a second British male into round three were dashed when Jack Draper was unable to claw his way back into his match against American No14 seed Tommy Paul.

There was none of the drama of Draper's five-set epic in the opening round, which saw temperatures in excess of 30 degrees and the 22-year-old vomiting in a courtside bin afterwards.
