Three suspects have been arrested after gunfire erupted seconds after the team including Kelce had left the stage outside Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri, yesterday afternoon.
A local radio station said one of its DJs, Lisa Lopez-Galvan, was killed. Officials said they treated eight victims who were in an immediately life-threatening condition and seven others who had suffered injuries that could prove critical.
Eleven children aged six to 15, many with gunshot wounds, were being treated at Children’s Mercy Hospital, chief nursing officer Stephanie Meyer said. She added: “The one word I would just use to describe what we saw and how they felt when they came to us was fear.”
