Shanika Ocean filmed the incident on her phone and posted the footage on social media detailing how the ordeal unfolded.

The actress, who played Dc Anna Gilchrist in the hit show Silent Witness, was confronted by a man in a grey hoodie while she was at the traffic lights in Dock Street at the junction of the A1203 at about 10.30pm on Saturday.

The footage shows her screaming at him and yelling for him to leave her alone, but he is seen grinning while repeatedly ripping at her door handle.

When the lights changed the man can be seen running in front of her car to stop her moving and even tried the handle of the back door when she eventually managed to drive off.

Enough of the sulk.Start playing like you're enjoying it

ALTHOUGH Gareth Southgate was always clear that he would finish his current job either on an opentop bus parade or banished to the Tower of London, he probably didn't have the indignity of being pelted with plastic beer cups on his personal bingo card of humiliations inflicted on England managers.
