TRADE MINISTERS OF the UK, US and the European Union met commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to give a push to the trade and investment partnership through trade agreements, addressing areas of dispute and creating a more conducive environment for investments.
The bilaterals are being held after the conclusion of G20 Trade and Investment Minister's conference in Jaipur on Friday.
With both EU and UK India negotiating a Free Trade Agreement and an investment treaty while with the US, the issues of discussions centred around moving ahead on the agenda set in the joint statement that was agreed to when Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Washington.
