The innovative drug, created by the department of biosciences and bioengineering at IIT Kanpur, has been granted approval for clinical trials by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
The trials are set to begin soon at Datt Meghe Hospital in Wardha, Maharashtra.
