Addressing the last plenary session, Dr Antonio Iswara Morandi, a World Health Organisation (WHO) advisor for Ayurveda, said, "World Ayurveda Foundation (WAF) has accepted the proposal for putting in place such a mechanism for overcoming the challenges confronted in the efforts to take the ancient system of medicine across the globe".
He was speaking at a session titled "Harmonising Science and Spirituality" which also covered subjects like "Genome to Om" and insights from ancient wisdom. Morandi said, "The network will bring together different systems and approaches for providing optimal healthcare to patients all over the world".
