KOLKATA:
The tigress killed a goat and injured another at Bandwan in Purulia district after entering the eastern state on December 20.
"The tigress has killed a goat and injured one. It hasn't travelled much in the last two days. The local people were being kept informed about the tigress's location and alerts were being sent to villagers for their safety," a senior forest department official said, requesting anonymity.
