GURUGRAM: Haryana chief secretary Dr Vivek Joshi on Tuesday directed officials to expedite the acquisition of land at Narsinghpur village for Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) to construct a drain and related infrastructure in order to resolve the perennial problem of waterlogging on NH-48 between Hero Honda chowk and Narsinghpur village, people aware of the matter said.
The chief secretary, who was holding a review and coordination meeting with senior Gurugram officials in Chandigarh, also issued directions to Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) to transfer land to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) to set up a new solid waste processing facility in the city, the people said.
