THE CRITICISM COMES WHEN CM YOGI ADITYANATH HAS PERSONALLY EXTENDED INVITATIONS TO SEVERAL DIGNITARIES
HT Correspondent

LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday attacked the state government on several issues and criticised the personal invitations being extended to dignitaries to attend the Prayagraj Mahakumbh that will begin on January 13.

The criticism comes when chief minister Yogi Adityanath has personally extended invitations to several dignitaries, including President Droupadi Murmu.

The SP leader, without naming anyone, said, "No one is invited to come to Kumbh, people come to Kumbh on their own. This is our culture."

"Invitations are not given for Kumbh, it is a festival of faith, people come on their own. Now let us know what the government says," he added.
