NEW DELHI: Two Congress workers were killed during separate protests on Wednesday, with party MP Rahul Gandhi alleging that the functionaries died due to "excessive police force".
While 45-year-old Mridul Islam was killed in Dispur area of Guwahati in Assam, 28-year-old Prabhat Pandey died in Lucknow area of Uttar Pradesh.
