PWD, LIT officials told to speed up construction of school buildings

Deputy commissioner Jitendra Jorwal conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of two Schools of Eminence (SOE) in Kidwai Nagar and Miller Ganj on Saturday.

Accompanied by ADC (General) Rohit Gupta, IAS trainee Kritika Goyal and senior officials from various departments, Jorwal emphasised the need to expedite work and finalise revised estimates for pending projects.

The Kidwai Nagar SOE is being developed by the Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) while the Miller Ganj SOE is under the public works department (PWD).

Both schools are part of the Punjab government's ambitious initiative to enhance educational facilities and provide students with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
