GHAZIABAD:
A resident of Karkarmodel and environmentalist Sushil Raghav had filed an execution application before the tribunal in 2021, citing the discharge of untreated sewage into the storm-water drain in Karkarmodel situated in Ward 43 of the Ghaziabad municipal-corporation.
During the pendency of the execution application, the reports/replies/compliance affidavits etc were filed by the corporation, state of Uttar Pradesh, UP Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) and the district magistrate of Ghaziabad, as well as a latest affidavit filed by the UP chief secretary on October 1.
