In his 14-minute speech, Gangwar outlined the roadmap of the Hemant Soren government, which has returned to power with a thumping majority, including most of the major electoral promises made ahead of the polls.

Emphasising that the all-round development of the state could be achieved only through cooperation between the Centre and the state, the Governor said the state government is committed to strengthening the federal structure of the country.

"...Keeping Jharkhandi Asmita at the core, we are committed to taking the state to the peak of development by ensuring a simple, transparent, and clean government. We will also take legal recourse to recover ₹1.36 lakh crore outstanding from the Centre and central PSUs," Gangwar said in his speech.
