Former political strategist and Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Thursday began an indefinite hunger strike at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna to press the demand for the cancellation and fresh conduct of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) prelims exam.

PATNA: Former political strategist and Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Thursday began an indefinite hunger strike at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna to press the demand for the cancellation and fresh conduct of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) prelims exam.

The district administration, meanwhile, registered an FIR against Kishor and his supporters, stating Gandhi Maidan is not a designated site for holding protest and that the former JD(U) leader did not have permission to stage the dharna.
