Data: 1st 30 days of Char Dham yatra recorded 41% of pilgrims

A report on the Char Dham yatra has shown that nearly 41% of pilgrims completed the pilgrimage within the first 30 days from May 10 to June 8, while the remaining 59% visited the four shrines over the next five months.

DEHRADUN: A report on the Char Dham yatra has shown that nearly 41% of pilgrims completed the pilgrimage within the first 30 days from May 10 to June 8, while the remaining 59% visited the four shrines over the next five months.

The report, "Pathways to Pilgrimage: Data Insights, Challenges, and Opportunities", was released by Social Development for Communities (SDC) Foundation, an organisation that focuses on climate change, environment, urbanisation and waste management in Uttarakhand, at a press conference in Dehradun on Thursday. It has analysed data on the number of pilgrims visiting each of the four shrines over the 192 days, and highlighted significant trends.
