Forest Dept To Use Mobile App To Curb Wildfire Response Time

The Uttarakhand forest department will use the "Forest Fire Uttarakhand" mobile app for the first time at the field level to reduce the response time in event of forest fires in the next forest fire season, a senior official said on Saturday.

It was discussed during a review meeting convened on the preparations for the forest fire management under the chairmanship of principal chief conservator of forests (HoFF) Dhananjai Mohan on Saturday.
