A bench of justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma sought CBI's response and fixed January 15 as the next date of hearing in the matter.
In his plea, Dalvin J Suresh, the father of Nevin Delvin, contended that the CBI had not yet secured the CCTV footage, high-resolution precise satellite images and video clips due to the alleged involvement of high-level government officials in the incident. It went on to add that the preservation of evidence was imperative as there was "a conspiracy to suppress the corruption" involved in the incident.
