THE technical problem that left thousands of airline passengers stranded in Ireland and Europe has been resolved, authorities in the UK confirmed last night.
Flights in and out of Irish airports experienced delays and cancellations yesterday due to British air traffic control problems.
Their Irish counterparts AirNav Ireland said the issue was resulting in “significant delays for flights across Europe that are travelling to, from or through UK airspace”.
