RYAN Tubridy has paid tribute to singer Christy Dignam after his special interview with the singer.
He said the Aslan frontman was in "fine fettle" despite being in palliative care.
Tubs dedicated his RTE radio show yesterday to a conversation with the 62-year-old who is terminally ill with a rare blood disorder.
It led to a deluge of texts from listeners, prompting the host to say: "The response is phenomenal. There's so much love for Christy."
Tubs told listeners ahead of the broadcast: "It was meaningful, it was profound, it was sad, it was funny - it was Christy."
