Derek “Del Boy” Hutch, 39, strolled around O’Connell Street less than five days after his uncle was acquitted of the murder of David Byrne.
Gardai are on high alert as they fear the Kinahan cartel will attempt to target The Monk, 60, and his family members.
There is an increased presence of officers around Dublin’s north inner city and around The Monk’s home in The Paddocks in Clontarf.
But on Friday, Del Boy appeared carefree as he emerged from the house he shares with his father Patsy – Gerry’s brother – on Champions Avenue.
The property has gardai posted permanently outside.
Derek walked up to O’Connell Street, crossed and made his way down Henry Street.
On Tuesday, his father Patsy also displayed his own Hutch courage with a stroll down Dublin’s main thoroughfare.
