London chiefs plan glitzy waterfront track as Brit star Dennis bids for title

THE London E-Prix is still promising to become the Monaco of electric racing. 

Formula E heads to the ExCeL Centre in east London for the season finale this weekend, where Jake Dennis is in pole position to become Britain’s first FE champion.

The event is like no other in motorsport, with the track being half indoor and half outdoor, allowing for unique lighting and entertainment that is impossible at any other venue. And with the ExCeL sitting on the banks of the Thames there are plans to add even more glitz, like the Monaco circuit.
