TOM BRADY has vowed to bring his winning mentality to the Midlands in a bid to put Birmingham City back in the top flight of English football.
And he has appealed directly to Blues fans to keep the faith after he announced he has taken a minority ownership in the club and will take on the role of chairman of the club's advisory board.
The US football legend - who won a record seven Super Bowls in a glittering 23-year career with New England and Tampa Bay has a close relationship with Tom Wagner, who bought City this year. In a video message to club supporters on his 46th birthday, Brady told them: "So here's the deal, I'm officially coming on board at Birmingham City Football Club
"And maybe you're asking, 'What do you know about English football, Tom?'. Well, let's just say I've got a lot to learn.
