WITHIN minutes of the final whistle on Sunday, footage was doing the rounds again.

Harry Kane, one of the few players to emerge from the St James' Park massacre with any credit, is shown looking skyward.

Shoulders slumped, the Tottenham striker appears to be muttering: "What's the f*****g point, man?" It had been captured during a game two years ago, when Spurs had their European hopes ended by Aston Villa, but it could easily have been grabbed during the 6-1 humiliation on Sunday.

The clubs clamouring to make Kane an offer he can't refuse won't have needed a second look at the clip to know just how unhappy he is.
