SALFORD will once again be without Ryan Brierley as they look to back up last weekend's superb victory against Warrington when league leaders St Helens arrive at the Salford Stadium.

The 32-year-old full-back is one of the integral members of Paul Rowley's side, but is still recovering from the injury suffered against Challenge Cup winners Wigan late last month.

In his absence, Chris Hankinson has deputised in the number one position and produced impressive performances against London and the Wolves.

"Chris has been awesome for us," said assistant coach Krisnan Inu. "He brings something a lot different to Kes [Brierley] which we haven't seen for a while.

"It's been good for us and it's been great for our middles having someone fire it back and get onto that advantage line to start our sets. It's a lot different."
