BOSSES at a popular Indian restaurant were left shocked and out of pocket after 30 customers didn't show up for prebooked meals on Christmas Day.
Khandoker restaurant in Didsbury branded the behaviour of customers who did not call ahead to cancel 'unfair' on staff who had to spend the holiday away from their families to work. A large amount of food was also wasted.
The family-run restaurant, on Kingsway opposite the Parrswood entertainment complex, has been running for 40 years and is known for giving back to the local community and charities such as The Christie and St Ann's Hospice.
