MANCHESTER Airport had the most delayed flight route out of the UK this year.
And seven out of the 12 most delayed flights in the UK were also from Manchester.
Almost a third (30 per cent) of flights leaving UK airports took off at least 15 minutes later than planned in the year to June 2023, according to data from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). That's the latest month for which data is available. The average delay time was 17 minutes.
Some routes are far more unreliable than others though, with the majority of flights on 178 routes experiencing delays of over 15 minutes.
