A MUM fleeced a vulnerable woman of more than £28,000 to fund her gambling addiction.
Chloe Campion worked as a service leader for a company assisting vulnerable adults.
She had access to the woman's bank card. Campion, 33, first used it to buy an item on the woman's behalf. The woman she was caring for has Down Syndrome and dementia, Minshull Street Crown Court heard.
Campion went on to use the card repeatedly over a four-month period. She took a total of £28,523.
Campion, from Trafford, pleaded guilty to fraud by abuse of position and was handed a suspended prison sentence. She has repaid £17,000.
