AN historic Manchester building is preparing to welcome VIP guests from across the world next week as it hosts an ultra-exclusive after-party for the Chanel fashion show, which is taking place in the Northern Quarter.
A huge structure is being erected on Thomas Street where the fashion house's Metiers d'Art show will take place but organisers of the international event have kept tight-lipped about the proceedings.
The city's top luxury hotels have all been booked out for the big show, which is heading to Manchester for the first time in December.
