Star and Garter boss Andy Martin, 52, tragically died on March 29 following a short illness.
The dad-of-two, who had been behind the beloved Manchester music institution on Fairfield Street for 21 years, was described by New Order's Peter Hook as being 'truly a man of the people' whose 'importance to new Manchester music was vital.
Andy first became involved in the venue in 1997 when he put on a gig from Half Man Half Biscuit. He took on the licence for the Star and Garter six years later and stayed with the bar until his death.
