BUSINESSES in Greater Manchester will be the first in the country to benefit from a new scheme to help them export to more markets around the world, the government has announced.
The Enhanced Trade Partnership has been set up by the Department for Business and Trade together with the Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) to get more businesses exporting.
Greater The partnership for international trade support promises to offer "unparalleled targeted support" for businesses looking to grow.
The scheme will pool resources available at an international, national and regional level into one easy-to-access place to ensure new and existing exporters have the best tools at their disposal, the government says.
