The actress plays Maria Windass in the ITV soap and as viewers have seen in the last few months, her son Liam Connor has been hiding a horrifying secret.
The teen, played by Charlie Wrenshall, has been subject to intense bullying by Weatherfield High newcomer Mason Radcliffe and his gang of mates - including neighbour and socalled friend Dylan Wilson - for months with Mason even pulling a knife on Liam during one of his heartbreaking bullying sessions spent more than 11 years on screen.
