CHARITY BOSS THANKS M.E.N. READERS AFTER WE HIT £10,000 TARGET FOR FOOD BANK APPEAL

As the big day approaches and some families continue to struggle food bank charity Humans MCR has thanked M.E.N. readers for their incredible generosity after donations to our Christmas appeal passed the £5,000 mark with the total now topping £10,000.

The M.E.N. is working with the organisation on the Nobody Hungry at Christmas project. It is aimed at tackling food poverty across Greater Manchester this winter.

Scores of hard-up families across the region go into the festive period filled with worry amid the cost of living crisis. The campaign helps families in need by delivering goods 6 nutritious right to their doorstep.
