SHOPPERS watched in horror after three people were stabbed in a brutal attack.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, descended on the scene near to Bury Market, off Murray Road.
Three victims, whose ages have not yet been confirmed by police, were rushed to hospital from the scene having sustained stab wounds.
Their injuries were not described as life-threatening, and one person has since been discharged with 'minor cuts.
Those passing the scene yesterday saw the victims laying on the ground along a walkway as they were being treated by paramedics before they were taken to hospital. A large cordon was erected throughout the afternoon, with a number of foot paths near to the interchange also taped off amid investigations.
