MAN HUNTS DOWN COAT ‘STOLEN’ ON NIGHT OUT AFTER FITTING IT WITH SECRET TRACKING DEVICE

A MAN who claims his AirTagged coat was swiped from a bar tracked down the suspected thief and recorded it all on TikTok.

Ben Gransmore claims his £300 North Face coat was pinched from the cocktail bar Mojo in Manchester city centre last Saturday night.

Unbeknown to the suspected thief, Ben claims he had put an AirTag tracker on the jacket and was not going to be giving it up without a fight, having already had three coats stolen during nights out in Manchester.

The following day Ben, 29, took matters into his own hands and claims he traced the coat to an address in Wigan using the AirTag. The amateur detective jumped in the car with his pal Henry Jones, 28, in tow to retrieve it.
