It’s time for the third Manchester Festival of Nature and we have more than 20 stalls, offering wild and wonderful activities for the thousands of visitors that turn up.
This will be a murmuration of conservation organisations, some groups offering natural well-being, Manchester Museum, Manchester Metropolitan Museum and Manchester city council, exhibiting the importance of nature in the region. This adds up to the Manchester Nature Consortium, working together for wildlife in Greater Manchester.
I will be having a go at the giant Jenga, a scavenger hunt, den building, willow weaving and making seed bombs. I might try natural dyeing... and what is forest bathing? There will also be some sphagnum squeezing, which is a great way to cool down and I will probably have my face painted.
