AN ENTREPRENEUR who moved to America almost 20 years ago has returned to his hometown to take on the renovation of a 200-year-old building where he had his wedding reception.
Rochdale-born Mike Thakur, founder of a flexible office space company in Texas, describes himself as 'an adventurous entrepreneur with a passion for wild home renovations! He recently completed the overhaul of a $1.5million mansion in Tennessee, which had been severely damaged by a fire in 2022 all documented on his YouTube channel.
But that property was built in 1997.
The building Mike has now turned his sights on which he has sold the Tennessee mansion in order to fund predates it by some 200 years.
