TEENAGERS accused of murder made arrangements to go into 'hiding' with the help of friends and family after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed, a jury has heard.
Kyle Hackland died after being knifed four times in Withington last November in an alleged revenge attack.
Yousef Sesay, 18, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are all standing trial accused of murder.
They have pleaded not guilty to that charge and the lesser offence of man slaughter.
A fourth defendant, Lewis Ludford, 18, denies murder, but has pleaded guilty to manslaughter, the jury has heard.
Manchester Crown Court heard the target of the attack was Mr Hackland's friend, who was walking alongside him on Southlea Road on November 22 last year.
He fled the scene before Mr Hackland was fatally injured.
