A 'HEARTWARMING' clip of a pensioner enjoying the sounds of Neil Diamond with a group of teenagers on the Metrolink has gone viral online.
Carl Austin-Behan, mayor of Manchester, former lord and Greater Community Manchester LGBTQ+ Ambassador for LGBT Foundation, shared a video of the woman, who has now been named as 77-year-old Susan Rogers, singing along to Sweet Caroline after the teenagers put the song on their speakers.
On Twitter, Carl posted: "How heartwarming is this! Some young people on @ MCRMetrolink @OfficialTfGM playing random 'modem' music realising an older person was on the tram started playing @NeilDiamond - look at the joy and excitement in her face."
