As the New Year festivities brought hope and celebration for many, tragedy unfolded in a hotel room in Lucknow, where five members of a family, including a woman and her four daughters, were found brutally murdered on Wednesday morning. The horrific incident has shocked the city, casting a dark shadow over the beginning of the year.
The police have arrested Arshad, the son of the deceased woman, in connection with the murders. The family, originally hailing from Agra, had travelled to Lucknow to celebrate the New Year but became victims of a gruesome crime. The bodies were discovered in a room at Hotel Sharanjeet, located in the Naka area of the city.
