Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Sunil Chowdhary credited this achievement to the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the proactive efforts of the state forest department, which employed modern technology and innovative strategies to achieve these results.
Speaking on the occasion, Chowdhary said the forest department took inspiration from the Chief Minister's guidance to align its initiatives with the National Forest Policy, which aims for one-third green cover in plains and two-thirds in hilly areas.
