Shyam Sundar Co Jewellers celebrated the New Year with underprivileged children on January 6. Earlier celebrations of the new year included initiatives to add joy and cheer in the lives of the abandoned girl child at a shelter in Kolkata and destitute boys at a home for the homeless in Agartala and Kolkata. The celebration of this new year, held at 'Gurukul', a children's refuge, was all about bringing a smile to the faces of hapless street children on the happy occasion of the New Year.
