Prisons On The Ocean (Pt 2)

Over the centuries of our horrific Maafa (Holocaust), thousands of our African ancestors have led successful revolts, which have deliberately been erased from the pages of world history.

Prisons On The Ocean (Pt 2)

Notes on Resistance:

Early European historians have recorded some (150) slave revolts at sea. True history teaches us that our resilient and brave ancestors would have surpassed that number within any given year during the ‘Middle Passage’ and Trans-Atlantic slave trade.

One of the wealthiest insurance companies in the world, Lloyds of London, was developed and founded on the insuring of slave ships. The costly insurance premiums were a direct result of highly successful Black insurrections against white kidnappers.

The captains and the crew of these death ships never rested without fear in their hearts. Many of our ancestor’s revolts were so effective that hundreds of our enemies were extremely fortunate to survive just one voyage, and very few made a second or third trip.

Countless ships were attacked while waiting in the harbors. Organized African warriors would strategically strike these slave ships from the interior (in-land) with swift and calculating maneuvers.
