The indiscriminate violence ravaging and plaguing this nation is highly destructive to the health, well-being, and order of society. Senseless killings, fratricide, mass shootings, and random aggression have become the norm in America. Thus far in 2022, there have been over 470 mass shootings (four or more people involved, shot, injured, or killed), and the homicide rate is escalating even higher than in 2021. This is an alarming trend that seems to be on the upswing with no remedy or solution in sight.
