A LIFE STEEPED IN LAW:
Born in Rangoon, Burma (now Myanmar), in 1926, Nariman's journey with law began early. His father, a prominent lawyer, instilled in him a love for the legal profession. Nariman completed his law degree from the Government Law College, Mumbai, in 1947, the year India gained independence. He then proceeded to Oxford University, where he earned a doctorate in law, further honing his analytical skills and legal acumen.

Returning to India in 1951, Nariman quickly established himself as a formidable lawyer.
